Carol Eicher is President and Chief Executive Officer of Innocor, Inc. Carol brings thirty years of manufacturing, commercial and executive leadership experience in the chemical industry. Throughout her career, she has led global specialty chemicals businesses serving a broad array of end use markets from construction and infrastructure to household and personal care. As CEO, Carol is responsible for the overall strategy, growth and operations of our company. Carol was most recently at Dow Chemical, where she was Business President for Coatings and Construction, a $5 billion global business, which included the Styrofoam™ business, which bears many similarities to our business, from a technology and channel to market perspective.
Prior to joining Dow, through the acquisition of Rohm and Haas, Carol was an executive officer and held multiple business leadership roles at Rohm and Haas and Ashland, Inc. She began her career at DuPont spending thirteen years in manufacturing leadership roles.
Carol serves as Treasurer of Fairmount Park Conservancy, the non-profit responsible for raising funds to support marketing and infrastructure development in the 10,000 acre public greenspace owned by the City of Philadelphia.
She is a director of Tennant Company, serving on the Audit Committee and Chairing the Governance Committee.
Carol obtained her Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and her MBA from York College of PA.
Doug Vaughan is the Chief Financial Officer of Innocor, Inc. Doug brings more than 30 years of experience in financial, general management, pricing and supply chain executive leadership. Doug has industry experience in aerospace, industrial and consumer products, petroleum, specialty chemicals, and life sciences.
Doug was most recently with Harlan Laboratories as CFO and President of the Research Models and Services division. Prior to Harlan, he served as the VP, Finance for the Residential Solutions division at Ingersoll Rand. Doug has previously held CFO roles with International Specialty Products and Trane Commercial Systems, a division of American Standard. Doug has also spent significant time in top financial roles with Honeywell International/AlliedSignal. He began his career in various engineering, manufacturing and financial roles with American Can Company and Amerada Hess.
Doug earned his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Connecticut and his MBA from the University of Virginia — Darden Graduate School of Business Administration. He is Green Belt certified in Six Sigma.
Nitin Chadda serves as the Executive Vice President of Product Management and Innovation.
Prior to joining Innocor, Nitin held the position of Global Business Development Director for Dow Chemical’s building and construction business group. In his 15+ year career, he has held a series of strategy, marketing, business development, business integration and project management roles within various upstream and market facing businesses at Dow and Rohm and Haas. He began his career in Research and Development at Rohm and Haas as a Research Process Engineer.
Nitin earned his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
Christopher LaCorata serves as the Vice President, Operations. In his role, he is responsible for all Innocor manufacturing plants, as well as supply chain, logistics, continuous improvement, quality, and environmental, health, and safety.
Chris has more than 30 years of experience as a manufacturing and operations leader in various consumer product sectors. He has held executive operational leadership roles at ClearSource, Inc., Consolidated Container Company and WisPak Pepsi-Cola Bottling.
Chris earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies from the University of Connecticut and his Master’s Degree in Organizational Leadership and Quality from Marian University. In addition, he completed the Executive Program in Turnaround Management at Harvard Business School and earned his Six Sigma Black Belt and Lean Manufacturing certification from the American Society of Quality.
Jeff Briney serves as Vice President, Commercial Sales. Jeff brings more than 25 years of experience in the polyurethane foam industry. He leads a team of B2B sales professionals in both domestic and international markets. His career has spanned product management and executive sales team leadership roles with Foamex International and Flexible Foam Products. As the Director of Business Development with Foamex International, he received the President’s Diamond Award for Sales and Marketing Excellence. Prior to joining Innocor, he was the Vice President of Sales at Flexible Foam Products.
Jeff earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration at Hamilton University.
Mary Anne Spencer serves as the Vice President, Human Resources. In her role, she is responsible for the strategic planning, management and coordination of all human resources activities companywide. With more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience, Mary Anne is an accomplished Human Resources executive with a broad business acumen and expanded viewpoint to manage large-scale business change and transformation.
Most recently, she served as Director of Corporate Human Resources and Global Compensation for Ashland, Inc., where she was the recipient of the Ashland Women’s International Network Business Impact Award in 2013. Prior to Ashland, Mary Anne spent over eight years at International Specialty Products, where she served as Vice President of Human Resources.
Mary Anne earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Edinboro University and her Master’s Degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at Lamar University.
Stephen Smid serves as the Vice President of Manufacturing Technology and Technical Services. He has more than 35 years of experience in manufacturing operations and technology. He began his career at Pfizer Inc., before moving to Dow Chemical, where he worked for 36 years before joining Innocor Inc. At Dow, Steve held various Business Manufacturing Operations and Technology leadership roles in the Dow Engineering Plastics, Automotive, Building and Construction, and Solar businesses. Stephen earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Missouri – Rolla.
